June 29, 2009 was cool and windy. Sprinkled on and off all day. We stayed in playing on the computer, doing a few lessons for most of the day. Walked the dogs out near the water, actually let Cleo off the leash. She did great, she really loves to run around with the other two. After a wonderful dinner at the Greenwood, Nina & I went to see the horses. They were still in their stalls finishing up their PM feeding. Lucky I thought. Brought Sonny out, he was antsy. Thought bringing Bella out to comfort him would be nice. Sonny did settle down but Bella was beside herself neighing for Blondie who was neighing for Bella. I went and got Blondie, then Bacardi was pitching a fit. He didn't appreciate being left in alone. He was pawing the stalls etc.
The boarding facility has a nice inner area where we usually let our 4 run around and it is where our trailer is parked. Sonny & Nina were exercising in the arena & the other three were running around. Time to put them in their pasture, what a mess. Blondie was running the fences until we could get Bella out there. Then Bacardi was looking for a way to jump the fences so he could get to the mares. Sonny was his good ole self. Man! I hope today will be a little less stressful!
